Rules
To ensure that this site runs smoothly and remains enjoyable for all who come here we have some basic rules that we ask you to respect and follow carefully. Failure to do so will result in warnings, removal of threads/posts or ultimately removal of a membership altogether if we feel the need.
- Posts are to be in third person (past tense)
For example.... 'Leon walked down the corridor. He was unsure of what he should have been doing at that precise moment in time."
- No Godmoding. This means that one roleplayer is not to control another persons character in any way such as dialogue, movements or feelings. It is up to the other person to decide how they shall react to you!
- There is nothing worse then having a reply with nothing to work with therefor there is a suggested minimum word count of 100 words. This is no scary length, just something to keep the threads progressing! There is no maximum so let your creativity flow!
- No character is perfect! Please be aware flawless characters will not be accepted, even the best sometimes come away with injuries from a fight or make mistakes.
- Once an application is accepted basic things such as age, height, history etc are not to be changed unrealistically. It does not make sense for a character to be 17 one day and changed to 25 the next. These changes will require creating a new character and new application. Any confusion about this can be cleared up by sending a pm to a member of staff for their opinion on the matter.
- Staffs word is final. While we are open to hearing opinions and will happily discuss about matters of concern to achieve the best for all, we ask you to respect our decisions and work with us rather then against.
- We are currently not accepting Canon characters (pre-existing) though this may be up for discussion in the short future.
- Characters will be allowed two months worth of inactivity before they are deleted. If the member decides for reasons that are going on break and would then like to return to the site but may be away longer then the two months we ask that you pm a member of staff AND post in the correct board so that others know of your absence. You will then be immune from deletion for a discussed time.
