Creatures, their rules and whats available
On this site their are multiple types of individuals you are welcome to play. Below is a brief description of what we mean by the terms and a list of any specific rules that may affect who you choose to play. Should you have any concerns or questions please eiter PM a member of staff or direct it to the questions board where we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Shadowhunters
Shadowhunters, also known as Nephilim, are a secretive race of beings who are humans born with angelic blood. They are the appointed warriors on Earth of the Angel Raziel who control demon and downworlder behaviour. They have fought the demonic forces valiantly for well over the span of a thousand years, creating their own culture and civilization within human society while keeping the mandate to keep the peace in the Shadow World and keep it hidden from the mundane world while protecting the inhabitants of both worlds.
Shadowhunter rules : - None Specific
Vampires, also known as the Children of the Night, are a species of Downworlders. Along with werewolves, vampires are humans infected with a demon disease. Their undeparted human souls reside within their own animated corpses, kept intact and animated by the demon disease and energy.
- Vampires are sterile. They may not have children at any point no matter the circumstances.
- Subjugates/darklings are allowed only when permission is given by a member of staff. Should you and another player want your characters to act in such a way please PM a member of staff with all names involved and why you wish to carry the plot out. Wait for your application to be approved before acting the plot out.
- Daylighters are currently not allowed.
Werewolves
Werewolves, also known as Lycanthropes and the Children of the Moon, are a species of Downworlders. Like vampires, werewolves are humans infected with a demonic disease, which gives them the ability to transform into wolves and gain their inhuman strength and enhanced abilities.
Werewolf rules: - Werewolves may only be born when BOTH parents are werewolves, otherwise they must be bitten.
- To become a pack leader you must wait until a position is becoming available and then apply in the character registrations board. From there threads for the change over can take place once staff have given permission.
Fair folk
Faeries, also known as the Fair Folk or fey, are an extremely cunning immortal race of Downworlders. They have both angelic and demonic blood, attributing to both their beauty and their malevolence.
Warlocks
Warlocks, also known as Lilith's Children, are the immortal race of Downworlder offspring of demons and mundanes. Warlocks who cannot cast magic are called ifrits.
- Warlocks may not be created as a first character.
- Warlocks MUST have a unique trait to identify them as being different to a human such as horns, coloured skin, animal features etc...
Mundanes
Mundanes, also called mundies by some, are regular humans who are oblivious to the existence of Shadowhunters, Downworlders, demons, and the rest of the Shadow World. Mundanes can be be infected with what are considered to be demon diseases: lycanthropy and vampirism; they can be turned into werewolves or vampires when bitten, and fed blood for the latter. They can also become Forsaken when runes are Marked or applied on their skins.
